Malta will once again be strongly represented at top FIBA Europe levels as it was announced that Malta Basketball Association president, Antonio Mizzi, recently re-elected to the FIBA Europe Board, has been confirmed as president of the Legal Commission.

There were other prestigious posts for other MBA officials.

Meanwhile, in preparation for the next Division C Championships, the national coaches have just called up their preliminary squads.

The women's competition will be held in Azerbaijan between June 28 and July 3 and Santino Coppa's girls will be defending the gold medal won in Luxembourg two years ago.

Bruno Dipietrantonio's men will be playing on home soil.

The tournament for men will be played at Ta' Qali between July 5 and 10.
