Three to be arraigned over cocaine find
Three Britons are expected to be arraigned this morning over the importation, trafficking and possession of cocaine after 220 grammes of the drug were found in the room of the hotel they were staying in, in Buġibba, the police said last night.
One of the three persons who are aged 24, 25 and 30 was arrested as he was trying to leave the island for Sicily by sea when he realised the police had found the drug. The police believe the drug was brought in last Sunday on a flight from the UK.
