Studies have shown that Malta is in a position to sign and ratify the Council of Europe's Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse.

Family Minister Dolores Cristina told Francis Agius (PN) that the Ministry of Education, Employment and Family Affairs was working to have the convention signed and ratified as soon as possible.
