Under-14 European tournament at VLTC

The Kettle Chips European Junior Tournament, organised by the Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club in collaboration with the Malta Tennis Federation, will take place between July 3 and 10.

This international junior tournament, to be held on the VLTC courts for the third year running, is part of the Tennis Europe 14 & Under Tour.

The main competitions are boys and girls singles but there will also be qualification and consolation events as well as boys and girls doubles.

Junior players from several countries, namely Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Cyprus, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Russia, Serbia, Sweden Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom, will be taking part in this tournament.

The Maltese players will be Bernard Cassar Torregiani, Raphael Sammut, Matthew Cassar Torregiani, Alexia Cassar, Maria Giorgia Farrugia Sacco, Naomi Zammit Ciantar, Katrina Sammut and Rebecca McCarthy.

The matches in the main draw commence on July 5 with the finals scheduled for July 10.
