Wedding bells

The marriage took place on May 9 between Therese Zammit, daughter of Philip and Mary Zammit of Marsa, and Yves Lefèbvre, son of Gisela Lefèbvre-Schmitt, from Ottweiler, Saarland Region, Germany. Nuptial Mass was concelebrated at St Augustine parish church, Valletta, by Fr Andrew Borg and Fr Saviour Grima. Her uncle, Vincent Ebejer was the best man, and the bride's brother-in-law, Marcel Tufigno, as well as the groom's best friend, Jörn Woll, acted as witnesses. The bride's sister, Sharon Tufigno, was maid of honour, while her nephew, Juan Pablo Tufigno, was page boy. A reception was held later at Castello dei Baroni, Wardija. The couple will be spending their honeymoon in Africa later in the year. The couple have taken residence in Wiesbaden, Germany.
