Thumbs up for the refurbished St Anne Square in Sliema and St John Square in Valletta. How about some refurbishment at De Paule Square in Paola?

It has been in its current state for more than 30 years; yet it is the largest square in the south of our island surrounded as it is with so many shops frequented by hundreds of people every day.

It should be turned into a wonderful open space with a few bright ideas.
