Chiswick House School and St Martin's College, together with the students' council, recently organised a spring fair on the grounds of St Martin's College, Swatar.

The event began with Mass in the college chapel. Afterwards, there were several activities, including pony rides, balloon modelling, a bouncy castle, go-karts, a bungee run and face-painting, as well as a DJ set by Malcolm Galea.

College coaches Boris Lalov, Andrea Vella and Rob Tarpey organised sports events in the pitches. These consisted of dodge ball, tug-of-war, tennis and football, for which students and their friends created teams to take part in a mini-tournament. A demonstration was put together by the college Taekwando academy, while a group of secondary school students put together a short show in which they danced to and sang some of their favourite songs.

Proceeds from the fair will be distributed to the students' council, and the chosen charities - Dar Merħba Bik in Balzan and SOS Malta.
