Man rescued by ramblers
Ramblers and an amateur fisherman may have saved the life of a man who was taken ill in an isolated part of Fomm Ir-Rih and fell some height onto the rocks this afternoon.
Informed sources said the incident happened at about 2 p.m.
The man, who is middle aged, fell onto the rocks and two people who were walking near by immediately went to his assistance.
Since they could not carry him to the road, they managed to signal a small boat which drew alongside the shore and the man was taken to Gnejna bay, where an ambulance and Civil Protection Rescuers were waiting.
The man was rushed to hospital.

I'm one of the persons who helped this poor fellow. We didn't actually see him fall. After he fell he managed to drag himself onto a rocky outpost, from where we heard his shouting. I hope his condition is ok now.
