Seven Heritage Malta sites will be open free of charge next Monday, a public holiday, the agency said.

The sites are Għar Dalam near Birżebbuġia, the Inquisitor’s Palace at Vittoriosa, the National Museum of Fine Arts in Valletta and the Museum of Archaeology, the Folklore Museum, the Old Prisons and the Gozo Nature Museum at the Cittadella in Gozo.

HM said that a group of artists will take part in ‘Re-Painted’ – they will sketch a live model at the National Museum of Fine Arts.

The exhibition ‘Willie Apap: Works from the National Collection’ currently being held at the Heritage Malta Gozo Office at the Citadella will be kept open throughout the day.

The public will also have the opportunity to become a member of HM at reduced rates.

Membership gives one the possibility to visit any HM site, except for the hypogeum, for free. They will also get discounted prices for special events organised by HM.
