I must let Vincent Vella know that I experienced a similar case to his. On April 28, I received notice that Go technicians were to call at Gozo to inspect the wiring and to update some lines. To avoid them turning up when I was not there, I fixed an appointment with Go offices for the technician to come on May 21 between noon and 2 p.m. To keep to this appointment I had to rush to Gozo in good time and arrived home at 12.01 p.m. When I got there I was told by my neighbour that the Go people had come at about 10.30 a.m. and said that everything was in order.

I immediately called Go to advise them about the great inconvenience they had caused and was told that the technician called earlier probably for his convenience.

I have also sent them a written complaint and the reply was that they were forwarding it to the appropriate person. Up to the time of writing they have failed to give me further explanations. From this experience and from what I read regarding Mr Vella's experience, I fully endorse his comments.
