I was somewhat sorry about what Vincent Vella (Customer Care That Leaves A Lot To Be Desired, May 24) had to go through to get the full service of the Go home pack.

I too had booked this service and I must admit I was impressed with the efficiency. I am not an easy person to please but Go went out of their way, it seems, to give me what, where and how I wanted. As a matter of fact I was given the full service in about three days or so. I remember that when it came to giving me the landline there was a fault in the underground cable and Go worked on the problem even at the weekend to give me the service in the shortest time possible.

Even the people who worked in and out of the house were very polite and respectful in their manners, so much so that I felt in duty bound to send a note of thanks to the chief executive officer. Maybe I can call myself lucky then, but I do not think I am the only one as I do not recall anybody I know of who complained about the service. Let's hope that there will be no more complaints like that of Mr Vella; I am sure Go will do their utmost to rectify inconveniences if and when necessary.
