Fundraising football tournament

A five-a-side football tournament is being held at Luxol on June 7 from 9 a.m. by the Kilimanjaro Challenge 6 (KC6) team. The fee is €100.

The event aims to raise funds in aid of projects undertaken by Moviment Missjunarju Ġesù fil-Proxxmu, and assisted by Reaching Out, to construct a clinic in Karro, Ethiopia.

The KC6 crew will be fund-raising around the clock to collect €53,000 to subsidise the construction of this medical facility.

The KC6 contingent will leave for Tanzania in mid-October and will summit Mount Kilimanjaro after a rigorous and arduous week's climb.
