Man's condition improves

The 59-year-old man who fell into the sea with his dog near the Regatta Club in Cospicua last Wednesday is no longer in a critical condition, police said yesterday.

The man from Cospicua was pulled out of the water by a passersby and taken to hospital.

The dog is being cared for by animal welfare officers.
