The second Malta iGaming Seminar attended by more than 140 delegates earlier this month at the Malta Hilton has been hailed an outstanding success.

Organised by CSB Group and Vacancycentre.com, with the assistance of Megabyte, BMIT, Greentube and Remax, this year's event was opened by Finance Minister Tonio Fenech, who said that Malta had embraced the online gaming revolution "with vigour and vision" while offering one of the most modern environments in Europe for online gaming activities.

The event is set to become a regular gaming meeting in the international industry calendar, bringing together regulators, operators and service providers to discuss key issues related to the industry.

Michael Caselli of iGaming Business once again chaired all discussions, and, on behalf of MiGS, said that "Malta has proven itself to be a forward-thinking global hub for iGaming, and Malta's progressive and practical approach to the igaming industry has made it a model for several other European iGaming jurisdictions".

Other speakers included Lotteries and Gaming Authority chief executive officer Reuben Portanier, Betsson chief executive officer Magnus Silfverbeg and Netrefer chief executive officer Rafael Arnold, who shared their Maltese iGaming experience. There were round table discussions on the future development of the EU iGaming industry and on Malta as a jurisdiction of excellence.

"CSB Group and Zammit and Associates - Advocates will continue to organise events like this as they provide an opportunity for gaming operators to visit Malta and learn more about the Maltese iGaming industry," CSB Group legal counsel and managing partner of Zammit and Associates - Advocates Andrew Zammit said.
