HSBC rewards 1,500th Business Direct customer

HSBC has honoured dentist Adam Bartolo with an award for being its 1,500th customer of its Business Direct service since its introduction in April last year.

HSBC's Business Direct service is tailor-made for commercial customers to facilitate their banking operations, making them faster and more efficient. Through Business Direct, a customer may operate a single business bank account without the need to keep separate current and savings accounts. This allows customers to keep business separate from their personal accounts.

Among the Business Direct benefits are a credit interest of up to 1.5 per cent per annum, access to a pool of business specialists, a periodic business review, round-the-clock internet proposition with the possibility to apply different authority levels to operate the account by the holder or other designated people; and call centre support on the business banking line.
