With reference to the report in The Times yesterday regarding my adjournment speech the previous day in Parliament on the remote gaming industry, for the sake of accuracy this is what I said about the IMF report on the Malta economy of 2009:

Page 5 of the report shows that, in 2006 and 2007, remote gaming accounted for about 60 per cent of Malta's GDP growth and for about 50 per cent of growth in 2008. According to page 14 of the IMF report, remote gaming services exports had reached 10 per cent of Malta's GDP, more than double the contribution to GDP of financial services exports.
