• The Holy Family Home for the Elderly is organising a bazaar in the home's garden between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. today. Several new items as well as second-hand goods, collectibles, plants and cakes will be on sale. Snacks and drinks will also be available.

• YWCA (Malta) will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday at 6.30 p.m. at the YWCA premises, 178, Valley Road, Msida. Women are encouraged to attend. For more information call the secretary on 7925 1882.

• The Past Pupils Association of St Joseph School, Blata l-Blata, is organising its annual Crowning of our Lady at the school chapel on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Mass and crowning will be followed by refreshments in the chapel yard. • To mark the 20th anniversary of Pope John Paul II's visit to the St Paul's parish church and grotto, Rabat, a Mass will be celebrated on the church parvis on Thursday at 6.30 p.m. by Archpriest Fr Louis Suban, the parish chapter and clergy, and religious communities in Rabat. All are invited to attend.

• As an act of reparation for offences taking place during the full moon an adoration and Mass will be held on Thursday from 8.30 to 10.30 p.m. at St Francis church, Msida Road, Birkirkara. All are invited to attend.

• The St Joseph School Past Pupils' Association (Sliema) will hold a Mass together with the crowning of Our Lady at the chapel of St Joseph School, Sliema, on Friday, starting at 7 p.m. Refreshments will follow. • The Missions Office of 7, Merchant Street, Valletta, is organising a bazaar every Friday from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. and every first Saturday of each month between 9 a.m. and noon, in aid of the missions. • The next meeting of the San Ġorġ Preca group is to be held at the MUSEUM headquarters in Blata l-Bajda on Friday at 6.30 p.m. Young couples and mature adults are especially invited.

• A plant sale, in aid of Mission Fund, Mosta, will be held on the parvis of the St Venera parish church in High Street, St Venera, on Sunday from 7.30 a.m. till noon. Funds will go towards relieving the hunger and misery in Third World countries.

• A sensitivity training session for people aged 25 to 35 will be held from June 4 at 4.30 p.m. to June 7 at 5 p.m. at Mount St Joseph Retreat House, Tarġa Gap, Mosta, organised by the Centre of Ignatian Spirituality. It will be facilitated in Maltese by Gina De Battista. The training will enable participants to develop more self-understanding and more trust in their abilities, emotions and beliefs, strengthen their attitude of openness and sensitivity towards others, and live their relationships in an authentic way. Participation is restricted to not more than nine people. The closing date for applications is tomorrow.
