The Rejuvi Tattoo Remover has been withdrawn from the market because it poses a 'serious risk' to consumers.

The Malta Standards Authority was notified by the European Commission that the product constitutes a risk to consumers due to its pH-value of 13.8 and its highly corrosive potential.

The MSA urged all those using the product to stop doing so at once and to return it to the place of purchase.

Businesses that have placed the product on the market have to make arrangements with their clients to have the product withdrawn and recalled from the market, and contact the MSA.

The authority warned it would take legal action if the product was found on the market during inspections.
