Home Affairs Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici has confirmed in Parliament that air-conditioning systems in police vehicles have been disconnected so that windows are not kept closed on patrol. He added that this put patrol members in a better position to hear and see what was going on around them.

Dr Mifsud Bonnici was answering a parliamentary question by Opposition Whip Joe Mizzi.
