Diploma in Policing
For the past two years the Malta Police Corps has been financing a course at the University of Malta leading to a Diploma in Policing. They attend in their free time.
Pressing home a point on how strongly the corps believes in training its members, Home Affairs Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici said that for the first time ever, members are regularly being given two half-day training sessions at the Police Academy as part of their working hours.
Answering a parliamentary question by Anthony Agius Decelis (PL), Dr Mifsud Bonnici added that when corps members request permission to attend other training courses, the corps considers each individual request and facilitates such attendance or otherwise according to its relevance to the corps' needs.

hemm Mr Minister, maybe you can teach them how to put up and down a car window since according to your esteemed opinion, having an ac in a car implies you are not capable of using windows!!!!
