Fancy that coming from the minister!
Question time in Parliament on Tuesday started off with Health Minister Joseph Cassar declaring that "the use of graves is related to deaths"! There are 15,538 graves at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery but, he said, it was difficult to say how many were still in regular use. Although public graves were regularly used, there were private graves that had not been used for several years.
Dr Cassar was answering a parliamentary question by Nationalist MP Jesmond Mugliett.

Well, you have to have read for a Doctorate at University to give such an erudite answer.

Thank you Dr. Cassar for spelling out the obvious. It will increase the good impression our parliament is giving at this point in time.

" ... there were private graves that had not been used for several years."
Does that mean that the occupants have been removed?

"it was difficult to say how many were still in regular use."
Most occupants follow a very regular lifestyle, if you'll pardon the expression.

Good joke. I would say "all" rather than "most"!
