The Environment Protection Directorate has urged the public not to consume Pasfrost frozen leaf spinach 'as a precaution'.

It issued its warning in terms of the Food Safety Act "because of the possible presence of foreign objects such as insects".

The warning applies only to lot numbers P-9174PF, A-9175PF and P-9169PF. The product is found in plastic bags with a unit weight of 2500g. It is imported from Belgium.
