A lecture by Nabil Gholam is being organised by the Kamra tal-Periti (KTP - Chamber of Architects) as part of its series of Architecture Nights lectures, now in their fifth year.

Gholam's lecture will focus on the practice's recent works with a particular emphasis on issues of relevance to the Mediterranean culture and climate. The works include the winning master plan competition proposal for the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture District and Irani Oxy Engineering Complex at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, as well as a number of residential and commercial projects in the Mediterranean region.

Gholam is the principal of the Beirut- and Barcelona-based practice, Nabil Gholam Architects, an international multidisciplinary team of architects, planners, designers and consultants with a portfolio spanning an extensive list of projects in architecture and urbanism.

The lecture, which is open to the public, will take place at the Aula Magna, University of Malta, St Paul Street, Valletta, on Saturday at 7 p.m.
