Lejlet Lapsi Notte Gozitana comes to an end today with a full-blown programme of activities.
There will be a nature walk at Għasri as part of the Eco-Gozo programme. Participants will meet at the Bus Terminus in Victoria at 9.30 a.m., where transport will be provided. The walk starts at 10 a.m. from Għasri Square, going up to Ta' Gordan light house, Wied l-Għasri, the Patronage church, Wied Sara, ending up in Victoria.
A Musical Tattoo will be held between 10.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. Boy Scouts and Boys' Brigades Bands from Ħamrun, St Venera, Marsa, Mosta, Naxxar, Msida and Cospicua will leave from different locations in Victoria and proceed to Savina Square, followed by a march past along Republic Street.
The Federicus Rex Society will put a display of falconry and other birds of prey at St Michael Bastion, Victoria.
Charles Bezzina will give a lecture on Wartime Gozo in the shelter at Castle Hill at 11 a.m. The Gruppo Sbandieratori e Musici Maestri will march from Savina Square to Cathedral Square.
Other attractions include 'Idea', a display of mosaics by Mary Portelli at Nadur council, an open day at the Wistin Camilleri School of Art in Għajnsielem, and the opening of the three towers: Din l-Art Ħelwa is opening Isopu Tower in Nadur and Dwejra Tower in San Lawrenz, while Wirt Għawdex is opening Mġarr ix-Xini Tower in Xewkija.
The weekend festival will come to an end with a concert by the Gozo Youth Wind Band and Orchestra at Independence Square at 8 p.m.
