Elisabeth de Feydeau will hold a conference on 'Parfums et parfumeurs, une épopée' on Thursday at 6.30 p.m. at Attard parish centre.

Ms de Feydeau is a perfume historian and author of De l'hygiène au rêve, l'industrie francaise des parfums de 1830 à nos jours, France, Terre de Luxe, L'un des sens, le parfum au XXème siècle, and Jean-Louis Fargeon, parfumeur de Marie-Antoinette.

The French Embassy and the Alliance Francaise are also presenting a conference by M. Emmanuel de Waresquiel on 'Napoleon, Malte e les destins de l'Europe' on June 17 at 6.30 p.m. at Attard parish centre.

Another conference by M. Gabriel de Broglie, chancellor of L'Institut de France, will be held on May 26 at 6.30 p.m. at the Embassy of the Sovereign Military Order St John's Cavalier, Ordinance Street, Valletta.

Ms de Broglie is a French historian and statesman, member of the French Academy since 2001, and chancellor of L'Institut de France since 2006.
