Some time ago I was diagnosed as having a mild allergic reaction to cows' milk so where I live in Cheshire I buy goats' milk. It is readily available in that county.

Imagine my surprise when I went to my local supermarket in Marsascala and found that the goats' milk on sale there came from Knutsford in Cheshire, not far from where I live.

The question to the readers of this paper is: Where have all the goats on the island gone?
