Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy has been handed a recall to the Wales squad for this month's friendly against Croatia.

Bellamy wasn't expected to feature in the match in Osijek on May 23 after missing his country's last three games following reports of a row with Wales coach John Toshack.

The 30-year-old has played in only two of Wales' last nine matches and reportedly fell out with Toshack after failing to inform the Welsh FA that he would be unable to make training ahead of a friendly against Montenegro due to a knee injury.

Bellamy's club later took the blame for the miscommunication and the star did return for World Cup qualifiers against Russia and Finland.

But Bellamy had missed the last three friendlies, leaving Toshack to claim he would not guarantee the former Liverpool striker a place in his squad for next season's Euro 2012 qualifiers.

However his selection suggests a thawing in his relationship with Toshack and could mean Bellamy will feature in next season's Euro 2012 qualifiers against England, Switzerland, Bulgaria and Montenegro.
