The Royal Malta Golf Club hosted the annual British Residents Association golf tournament at Marsa on May 3. For the second consecutive year, Hollingsworth International Financial Services were the main sponsors.

On a glorious sunny day, 41 players tied off for a morning of competition followed by a presentation ceremony at the clubhouse.

The overall winner, with a stableford score of 37 points, was Annette Sowden. The winning group was Central and St Julian's, comprising Lew Collins, Ken Waddington and Peter Cuthbert.

The Drimmie Trophy and Walshaw Cup were presented to the winners by Mark Hollingsworth, for the sponsors, and Guy Chamberlain, the club captain.
