Obituary

BONELLO. On May 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, GODFREY, of Guarda-mangia, aged 64, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Lucy, his son Josef and his fiancée Isabelle, his brother Dr Louis Bonello and his wife Rose, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. for Fatima parish church, Guarda-mangia, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to the Hospice Move-ment would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

BUGEJA (Malata). On May 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPHINE, of Valletta, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Rosalie and her husband Robbie Farrugia, her son Anthony and his wife Jane, her grandchildren Maurice and his wife Sonia, Lydia and Ken, Gordon and his wife Claire and Marie Claire, her great-grandchildren Rudy, Terence Paul, Amy, Giulia and Zack, her brother Emmanuel Grech, her step-brother Joseph and her nephew Rev. Fr Martin Schembri O'Carm other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9.30 a.m. for the basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

GRIMA. May 9, Charlie, of Mellieħa k/a Tal-Coins, passed away peacefully at his residence at the age of 66, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Tessie, his daughters Sharon and her husband Manuel, Sonia and her husband Simon and Sarah and her husband Raymond, his grandchildren Abigail, Christian and Desiree, his brothers Joe and his wife Christina and John and his wife Doris, in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves today at 2.30 p.m. from his residence to Maria Bambina parish church, Mellieħa, where a Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m. followed by interment at Sultana tal-Vittorji Cemetery, Mellieħa. No Flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movemet, Balzan will be appreciated. The family regrets that they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Remembering a very dear husband and father, especially today being the sixth anniversary of his passing away to a better life. Always loved and sadly missed by his wife Hermione and son Brian. Lord, grant him eternal rest. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said on May 16 at 10 a.m. at St Dominic's parish church, Valletta.
