One of the items on show at the recent Pauline exhibition held at Auberge de Castille during the Pope's visit was the altar painting of the shipwreck in the chapel at San Pawl tat-Tarġa, and which, up to that point, I had believed was by Francesco Zahra.

I was very surprised to note that at the exhibition this painting is now being attributed to Giuseppe d'Arena.

As frequent visitors to this chapel, our community is interested to know more about who the real painter might be.
