Lilian Azzopardi, head of the University's Department of Pharmacy, recently presented a copy of the book Lecture Notes in Pharmacy Practice to Health Minister Joe Cassar. The book, which is edited by Prof. Azzopardi, is a comprehensive guide summarising the basic principles in clinical pharmacy in community and hospital settings, as well as the practice of pharmacy in other areas.

To mark the launch of the publication, a seminar was organised last month for pharmacy students, pharmacy practice teacher practitioners and tutors. The seminar formed part of the activities of the Annual Pharmacy Symposium.
