Teachers and students at St Martin's College recently hosted a number of students for two weeks from sister school, Kindai High School, from Osaka, Japan.

This year marked the 10th year of a visit which has now become a milestone in the school calendar.

Japanese students got a taste of a student's life in Malta, while learning English every day with the help of teachers from EC Language School. They also got a chance to visit many interesting sites in the country while experiencing life in a Maltese household through the hospitality of of host families.

With the presence of over 30 nationalities among the college's registered students, knowledge and acceptance of international cultures and customs are already an integral part of life at St Martin's College, and this event was an ideal occasion for students to enrich their understanding of other cultures further.

They also had a chance to try their hand at Origami, Japanese writing skills, traditional Japanese toys and to learn some words in Japanese.
