Obituary

FENECH. On May 6, at his residence in Mosta, ADRIAN, aged 58, passed away in peace suddenly, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Sadly missed by his wife Anne Marie Fenech Dekkers, his sisters and in-laws May and Louis, Frida and Martin, Doris and Tony, Anna and Charles, Rose and Edward, Gillian and Philip, Dora, widow of his brother Franz, his aunt Grace Grech, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral Mass will be said tomorrow at 9.30 a.m. at the Rotunda parish church, Mosta, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. May he rest in peace.

GRISCTI. On May 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIE LOUISE, widow of Walter, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her beloved daughter Angele Bonello, her loving partner Lt Col Antoine Pace Bonello, her grandchildren Marcus and his wife Christine, Miguel and his wife Annabelle, her great-grandchildren Jasmine, Leah, Louis, Emma and Andrew, her sisters Iris and her husband Eddie Bonnici, Joan and her husband Albert Camilleri, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The family thank the dedicated staff at Mater Dei Hospital. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to The Ursuline Crèche, Sliema will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.

PARNIS. On May 5, at Karin Grech Hospital, CARMEN of Birkirkara, aged 71, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers and sisters, Fr Emmanuel Parnis, MSSP, missionary in Peru, Mary and her husband Joe Kean, John and his wife Carmen, Doris and her husband Paul Mallia, Jane, widow of her brother Joe, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Joseph the Worker parish church, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the MSSP Missions in Peru will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Road map for equality

The Spanish Embassy in Malta will be holding a seminar, themed The Road Map For Equality After 2010, on Wednesday at the Corinthia Palace, Attard, between 9 a.m. and 12.45 p.m. The public is invited and participation is free.
