A major exhibition of paintings entitled Edward Caruana Dingli (1876-1950): Portraits, Views and Folkloristic Scenes, will be launched this evening at tThe Palace, Valletta.

This is Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti's, 11th exhibition and will be open to the public from tomorrow until Sunday 6 June.

Edward Caruana Dingli was one of the most admired artists of the past century. Patrimonju has brought together some 250 of his finest works, giving visitors this unique opportunity to take a step back in time, and to wander among portraits of the great and the good, the pious and the powerful, and the fun and free-spirited of Malta's recent past.

The exhibition will be open daily between 10am and 5pm (last admission 4pm). Admission €5 adults/€3 concession.
