The operators of Plush Club in Paceville have been ordered by a court to pay over €75,000 in arrears of rent to Tourist Services Ltd.

The company demanded payment in a court case filed against Plush Entertainment Company Limited and Plush Investments Co Ltd and Frank Grima and Joseph Zammit as guarantors of the two companies’ obligations.

It said it had sublet the club's premises to the companies in June 2006 and Frank Grima, Joseph Zammit and Shane Scicluna had guaranteed the payment of the rent.

The case against Shane Scicluna was subsequently withdrawn by Tourist Services.

The court found that it resulted that all defendants owed Tourist Services Ltd €75,039.29 and it ordered them to pay the said sum.
