It has been the rule for some time that outside air conditioning units cannot be installed where visible in Valletta.

If need be, a wooden cover should enclose the unit to reduce visual impact.

For those who frequent the area near the Central Bank, on top of City Gate, someone decided to install the compressor directly on the pavement and resting adjacent to a 400-year-old bastion overlooking Floriana. I even saw a local warden sitting on it not so long ago while writing on his gadget.

Can anyone believe the arrogance of such action?
