Rainbows beat Hibs 1-0

Tarxien Rainbows notched their third successive victory over Hibernians 1-0 to complete their league commitments on a high today.

Ryan Grech scored the all-important goal five minutes from time when the Tarxien midfielder scored from the rebound after his effort from the penalty spot was partially blocked by Hibernians goalkeeper Mario Muscat.

For the Paolites their best chance fell to Edward Herrera early in the second half when he saw his low drive cleared off the line by Ryan Mintoff.

Tarxien goalkeeper Anthony Curmi was named BOV Player of the match.
