Enemalta Corporation has so far this year received 57 requests for compensation for damages caused by high voltage, three requests for compensation for power cuts and one request for compensation after food went bad after a power cut, Finance Minister Tonio Fenech said in parliament.

He said that all claims were investigated and where justified, the corporation requested the relevant receipts.
