Master explains principles of Aikido
Martial Arts Master Renato Tamburelli was in Malta recently to demonstrate Aikido to the growing number of followers of this ancient discipline.
Sensei Tamburelli explained how Aikido 'directs energy to find harmony'. This, he said, was not an aggressive form of combat, but a way for personal improvement.
He spoke to Velislava Hillman.

Martial Arts are a BIG TIME business in Malta. Harmony & Energy are not free anymore like in the days of the noble Samurai! Today it's all about courses, belt gradings and seminars!

Martial Arts should be promoted much more in Malta. It is not only a sport/hobby, it is a way of life!

Mr Said fully agree with you.
We embarked with various courses for the public to get in touch more with the 'self'.
Soon will be having a seminar by a maltese-australian master and a new beginners course.
