A snack bar due to have opened for business this evening was damaged in a blaze this morning.

The blaze, at Tico Tico in Valley Road, between Msida and Birkirkara, was extinguished by fire fighters of the Civil Protection Department.

The incident took place at about 7.30 a.m. The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
