Italy coach Marcello Lippi named a 29-man squad for a pre-World Cup get-together in Rome tomorrow and Wednesday.

Of the players likely to go to the World Cup only Roma's Daniele de Rossi was missing from the squad.

Italy are the reigning champions and face Paraguay, Slovakia and New Zealand in Group F.

Goalkeepers: Buffon (Juventus), De Sanctis (Napoli), Marchetti (Cagliari), Sirigu (Palermo).

Defenders: Bocchetti and Criscito (Genoa), Bonucci (Bari), Cannavaro, Chiellini, Grosso and Legrottaglie (all Juventus), Cassani (Palermo), Maggio (Napoli), Zambrotta (Milan).

Midfielders: Camoranesi, Candreva and Marchisio (all Juventus), Cossu (Cagliari), Gattuso and Pirlo (Milan), Montolivo (Fiorentina), Palombo (Sampdoria), Pepe (Udinese).

Forwards: Borriello (Milan), Di Natale (Udinese), Gilardino (Fiorentina), Iaquinta (Juventus), Pazzini (Sampdoria), Quagliarella (Napoli).
