Tickets for the ferry between Malta and Gozo are to be bought from Mġarr instead of Ċirkewwa.

Gozo Channel said this was due to the works that Transport Malta was doing on the Ċirkewwa ferry passenger terminal.

Passengers and vehicles at Ċirkewwa will only be required to queue before boarding. They will then have to buy tickets and have them validated at the Mġarr end, on the way back. Passengers wishing to use the Sa Maison service can buy tickets from the company's ticket booths at Mġarr prior to embarkation.

The Immorru Għawdex scheme, which offers incentives for passengers travelling to Gozo on specific trips, will be discontinued for the time being.
