Letters for the Pope

A group of students from St Theresa College Mrieħel Girls Junior Lyceum, Birkirkara Boys Secondary and St Venera Boys Secondary recently participated in a letter-writing exercise to commemorate the papal visit to Malta.

The letters addressed to Pope Benedict XVI were presented to Fr Savio Vella, Archbishop's delegate for youth, in the presence of heads of schools, teachers and students at the office of the college principal.

Participating students were asked to reflect on the meaning of the Pope's visit and write their thoughts to him. The letters will be forwarded to the Vatican through the Apostolic nuncio.
