Archbishop Paul Cremona today leaves for North America where he will be visiting Maltese communities in Toronto, Canada and Detroit and New York.

In Toronto, Mgr Cremona will call on Auxiliary Bishop William McGrattan and will visit Maltese patients at Runnymede Hospital. He will also meet the city's Archbishop Allen Vigneron.

On Sunday, he will celebrate Mass marking 100 years since the foundation of the St Paul Missionary Society in Malta at St Paul Apostle church.

In New York, he will say Mass in St Patrick's Cathedral with Archbishop Timothy Dolan and meet Apostolic Nuncio Celestino Migliore.

Mgr Cremona returns on May 20.
