Grand Harbour Marina plc, the developer and operator of the Vittoriosa Marina, has submitted a tender for a 50-year concession for the redevelopment and operation of the Mandraki marina in Rhodes.

The tender, submitted in association with Camper & Nicholson's Marinas International, is for the renovation and extension of existing facilities to bring them up to world class standards.

The marina is located in the centre of the Greek island's main town. It has a strong historical link with the Grand Harbour marina because both are bordered by fortifications built by the Knights of St John.

Although competition for the tender is strong due to several bidders contesting, GHM believes it is well placed to deliver a world-class marina. The tender decision is expected by the end of this year.

Camper & Nicholson's is widely recognised as one of the world's oldest and most prestigious yachting business names, with origins dating back to 1782 when boat building began at Gosport, in the south of England.

Recently, the company relocated its global headquarters to Malta. The new office is situated at the Treasury building within Grand Harbour Marina and can be reached on 2248 0000 or mail@cnmarinas.com.
