Fort Cambridge, a residential development in Sliema, has won accolades in the first Russian Home Overseas Property Awards.
The Fort Cambridge project, by GAP Developments plc, won gold in the Best Eco Project and bronze in the Best Apartment Complex categories.
The awards were announced at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Grand Hotel in Moscow. Over 200 real estate industry movers and shakers were present.
George Muscat, GAP chairman, said: "We're very proud of these awards, confirming our feeling that this project is a real crown jewel for the local property market."
The awards were first launched in late November 2009 and, by last February, more than 250 applications from 65 companies worldwide were submitted, with 380 projects participating in the awards.
They were judged by a jury of experts in the field of foreign real estate, as well as representatives of sponsors and the media, who chose those projects they considered to be the best in 18 categories.
