STMicroelectronics recently presented Salesians' administrator Fr Eric Cachia with a contribution in support of the Salesian mission in Haiti.

The presentation was made at the ST Kirkop plant by Tonio Portughese, HR director, in the presence of Br Antonio Saglia from the Salesian community of Valdocco, Turin, Italy, and STMicroelectronics finance director Philippe Zammit.

In the recent earthquake that devastated Haiti, the Salesian community lost eight schools. Over 250 students lost their lives. Salesian missionaries are currently hosting more than 50,000 people - mostly orphans and children.

Other financial support will be appreciated and any contribution can be made to: The Salesians of Don Bosco, Salesian Oratory, 20, Karm Galea Street, Sliema.
