Members from the Kilimanjaro Challenge IV Team (KC4) recently presented Dun Ġorg Ġrima of the Moviment Missjunarju Ġesù fil-Proxxmu with a donation for €37,000, which will partly subsidise the first phase in the construction of the Oasis of Peace - an orphanage in Nyamonge, Kenya, run by the movement that will house children who lost their parents to HIV or as a result of tribal warfare.

The Kilimanjaro Challenge is a fundraising initiative organised by the philanthropic organisation Reaching Out. The KC4 Team achieved a first when all members reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. All 14 climbers reached Uhuru Peak last September.
