Fundraising photohunt

The Organisation for Friendship in Diversity (OFD) will be organising a springtime photohunt to raise funds for its future projects.

Participants will be divided into groups of up to four people. Each group will be given a number of photo challenges to be completed, as well as a list of objects to be collected.

The event is being held to raise funds for OFD's Summer Camp 2010, which the group hopes will cater for around 60 children. Participant fees for the hunt are set at €10 per car and €2.50 per team member. Participants must bring their own cameras and USB connectors.

Launched early last year, the NGO strives to help cultivate friendship amid diversity through cultural understanding. OFD is constantly working to improve its methods and develop new ways to challenge social stereotypes that lead to discrimination.

OFD's first project was Summer Camp Malta 2009, a two-week-long camp catering for over 25 children, from diverse ethnic backgrounds, aged from five to 11.

The activity will start at the Luxol Grounds, St Andrew's, on Sunday from 2 p.m. OFD is currently accepting bookings from teams wishing to take part in the photohunt.
