BoV enters collaboration agreement with MHRA

Bank of Valletta has entered into a three year collaboration agreement with the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association (MHRA) aimed at assisting the association to further Malta's tourism industry, strengthening this sector's position as the main pillar of the economy.

The sponsorship was presented by BoV's head of strategy and business development Joe Zammit to MHRA president George Micallef in the presence of Adrian Sammut and George Schembri from BoV and MHRA respectively.

"Through this close collaboration, Bank of Valletta is assisting the MHRA to be proactive in building a sustainable tourism industry. BoV also plays a very important role within the tourism sector through the financing of projects related to tourism," said Mr Zammit, citing the BoV-MHRA Quarterly Survey of hotel performance and market trends as one example of this.
